Pattern Making Project #1

Currently I am taking a pattern making class and I LOVE IT!  It's so great to be able to learn so many skills that opens up so many doors of possibilities!  I just wanted to share what I did for my midterm project.

For the project I had to create a bodice and skirt.  So I decided to put them together to make a dress!  I moved the waist dart to the bust dart, released the back shoulder dart, and kept the back waist darts.  I created a boat (or bateau) neckline and for the skirt I did a peg top skirt out of a fun interlock knit print.  I was pretty pleased with how this one turned out!

Now I am gearing up to finish my final project that will be featured in the fashion show this week! More on that later!!
